The Foreign Ministry held a memorial service for its martyrs who were victims of a terrorist bombing in 2009.
The Foreign Minister laid a wreath at the memorial that the ministry held for this tragic incident, and delivered a speech in which he commended the martyrs, recalling the active role of Iraqi diplomacy in the fight against terrorism.
Minister Alhakim stressed that the Ministry will continue to coordinate with its partners and friends in confronting terrorism, extremist ideology, and drying up its sources and sanctuaries.
The Minister praised the support provided by the brotherly and friendly countries of Iraq in mitigating the effects of the terrorist incident, and their support to Iraq in the war against the Da’esh terrorist gangs.
