Iraqi Foreign Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jaafari met with Mr. Karim Khan, Special Adviser and head of the Investigative of Accountability of Daesh crimes. The two sides discussed the mechanisms of the investigation team and the ways to achieve its mission in Iraq.
Minister Al- Jaafari stressed Iraq's readiness to provide full support for the success of the team's mission, stressing the importance of cooperation with the Iraqi government.
On his part, Mr. Karim Khan, head of the investigation team praised the support provided by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to the investigation team, revealing that he will arrive in Baghdad soon to begin the tasks, stressing that Iraq will assume the post of deputy head of the investigation team.
