The Regional Director of the World Bank congratulated Dr. Al-Abadi on the victories and the liberation of Mosul, stressing the readiness of the World Bank to assist and support the efforts of the Iraqi government and its plans for economic reform and the advancement of reconstruction projects and development of Iraqi cities

"Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack by the extremist groups, northern Sinai. The Ministry stands with the fraternal Egyptian people and its Government in countering terrorism, targeting its security and the safety of its people. It also expresses condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a quick recovery for the wounded. The scourge of terrorism, which represents the most prominent threat to the whole world, requires further efforts in order to eradicate its financing sources, and its hatred and inflammatory platforms."

"Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns and denounces the terrorist act that tried to target the Holy Shrine in Mecca. The ministry asserts Iraq's solidarity with fraternal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia against the terrorist gangs that targets its security and stability.
