His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received, this day, EU's delegation, during the meeting; they discussed mutual collaboration between Iraq and EU in the counter-terrorism file, exchange the views concerning how to deal with Daesh 's detainees' large number to face a fair trial in accordance with the law.
His Excellency Prime Minister expressed his welcoming to the EU's delegation that represented France, Britain, German, Netherland, Belgium, Sweden, wishing for them a good stay in Baghdad, underscoring that big delegation presence is representing an evidence of interest in this growing relationship and the desire to develop it, while The rapprochement and understanding between Iraq and the European Union contribute to achieving of our common interests, security, and stability in the region and the world.
The delegation's members and EU's ambassadors welcomed the Iraqi government's stance and its initiatives to open a dialogue between Iraq and Europe on this subject.
